Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Phallon, token usage, privacy, and plans.

Q: What are tokens and how are they counted?

Tokens are the fundamental units of text processed by AI models. As a general rule, 1,000 tokens equals roughly 750 words. In Phallon (and across the entire AI industry), token calculations include both input tokens (the prompt you write, previous conversation context, and web search snippets) and output tokens (the words generated by Phallon in response).

Q: What happens when I reach my daily quota?

Quotas are refreshed every 24 hours. The Free tier includes 50,000 tokens and 5 image generations per day. If you reach your limit, your quota will reset automatically the next day, or you can upgrade to Pro to unlock 1,000,000 tokens and 100 image generations per day.

Q: What is Incognito Mode?

Incognito Mode processes your requests purely in temporary volatile memory. Chats conducted in Incognito are never written to your history, never stored in databases, and never persisted to disk. Once you clear or close your session, that conversation is permanently erased.

Q: Is my data safe and will it be used to train AI models?

Your privacy is paramount. Phallon routes queries through commercial enterprise API endpoints with zero-data retention policies. Neither Phallon nor our foundational model providers use your personal data or conversation text to train public AI models.

Q: What AI models are used under each mode?

Phallon dynamically pairs specialized models with your task: Fast & Incognito run on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super (120B); Strong runs on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra (550B); Coding is powered by Poolside Laguna Coder; Creative leverages Gemma & FLUX image models; and Vision utilizes multimodal vision reasoning.

Q: Can I cancel my Pro subscription at any time?

Yes, absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription with a single click in your billing dashboard at any time, and you will retain Pro access through the end of your paid billing period.
